ANTIGONISH, N.S. - A Nova Scotia woman has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for stealing $75,000 from two highland dancing groups.
Cheryl Ann Scott-McCormack of Antigonish will serve the sentence on weekends.
The woman faced six charges, including theft, fraud and uttering forged documents.
Court heard Scott-McCormack defrauded the Antigonish Highland Dancing Association and the Scotia Highland Dancers through cash withdrawals and writing forged cheques to herself.
