Police say they received a call today shortly before 2 p.m. that a train left the tracks near 180 Lansdown Rd. in West River Station.

Police say they are evacuating a two-kilometre radius around the train derailment.
Local fire crews and officials with the province's Environment Department are on the scene.
West River Station is about 150 kilometres northeast of Halifax.
