HALIFAX - Police in Halifax say a 31-year-old man is facing assault charges after allegedly chasing a paramedic with a knife over the weekend.
Authorities say an ambulance worker responded to a call of an unconscious man in an apartment on Wyse Road early Saturday evening.
They say the suspect became combative after regaining consciousness and eventually chased the paramedic from the residence at knifepoint.
No one was injured.
The accused faces charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats and breaching a court order.
