Shares in RIM head up; U.S. analyst more optimistic about new operating system

TORONTO - U.S. analyst Peter Misek of Jeffries & Company says developed market carriers have a much more positive view of Research In Motion's new operating system, BlackBerry 10, than expected and he gives it a 20 per cent to 30 per cent probability of success. Shares in RIM (TSX:RIM) were up almost three per cent, or 26 cents, on the Toronto Stock Exchange in early trading.
