Police looking for snowmobile driver who hit pedestrian in eastern Newfoundland

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Police in eastern Newfoundland are looking for a snowmobile driver who hit a pedestrian in Conception Bay South.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the collision happened on Delaney's Road on Jan. 11.

Police say a man on a snowbank was struck by the machine, which sped away from the scene.

The victim could not provide a description of the snowmobile or the driver.

The pedestrian is expected to recover from his injuries.
