SEATTLE - UFC president Dana White says Georges St-Pierre has asked to fight Nick Diaz next.

And the UFC boss says the UFC welterweight champion will likely get his wish.

White says St-Pierre made the request after returning from vacation following his UFC 154 win over Carlos Condit.

Says White: "If he wants to fight Nick Diaz and Nick Diaz wants to fight him, then that's probably the fight we'll make."

St-Pierre had been thought to be headed to a super-fight with middleweight champion Anderson Silva next. But White says GSP told him he has unfinished business with Diaz.

St-Pierre and Diaz were slated to fight last year but Diaz was pulled from the card when he missed two news conferences with the champion.

Montreal's St-Pierre then injured his knee. And Carlos Condit beat Diaz for the interim welterweight title.

There is no date yet for a possible GSP-Diaz fight. But White says it is probably a big enough bout to think about using Toronto's Rogers Centre.
