Holiday greetings and messages appear below from Newfoundlanders serving onboard HMCS Fredericton currently deployed in the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea conducting counter-piracy operations.
"We have over 50 Newfoundlanders serving onboard for this deployment, from all over the province," says Lt.(N) Brian Owens, public affairs officer onboard HMCS Fredericton. "They are a very proud group."

    this picture can give anyone who is from this province(nl) a feeling of pride.thanks guys for all your sevice,and dedication.just imagine,one eigth of the crew is from this province..this is our way of showing our pride for our country canada and would only wish the federal goverment would be the same towards our province.
