Dodge for a Cure charity dodgeball tournament took place in St John’s this past November.  Founded by Robert Power and Keith Sullivan, the intention of the event was to raise money for the NL Division of the Canadian Cancer Society and raise awareness for personal cancer prevention strategies, or in other words, ways that you can help “dodge cancer.”

The event was a huge success, featuring 26 teams and more than 200 participants. In total, $13,565 was raised for the NL Division of the Canadian Cancer Society. The organizers hope to continue the fundraising and cancer awareness efforts at Dodge for a Cure 2014.  Stay tuned to dodgeforacure.ca for updates.
