Community Heroes: District N-4 Lions make major health conditions

The Lions of District N-4 — 53 clubs located in the eastern portion of the province from Gander to Pouch Cove —  made more multiple donations to health care causes during its recent district convention. In all $9,683.29 was donated to General Hospital Health Care Foundation for continued support of vision needs at the Health Science Centre (Lions Eye Care Unit), the the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville and the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre. Funds were raised through various Lions projects, such as the Lions Journey for Sight, during which Lions collect sponsors for a walk
