Wednesday, April 2, was World Autism Awareness Day, and Flanker Press partnered with the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador to help increase autism awareness and to raise money for the society. Flanker Press committed to donating the retail price of all books sold through its website on April 2 to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. Flanker Press sold $935 worth of books during the its promotion, and then decided to match this amount dollar for dollar. — Submitted photo
