BEAZLEY-LeGROW — John, Heather, and big brother Noah thank God for the safe arrival of a precious baby girl. Lauren Nadine was born on May 21, 2010, weighing 8 lbs 14 oz. Lauren is welcomed by grandparents Irene Hudson LeGrow, Melvin LeGrow and Judy Beazley. Watching over Lauren from Heaven is Poppy William Beazley. A special thanks to Daddy and Nanny LeGrow for all their love, support and care during labour and delivery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BOLT-CURTIS– Rhonda Bolt-Curtis and Corey Curtis are thrilled to announce the arrival of their precious miracle, a baby girl, Sierra Anna Curtis, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 2:10 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 4.5 ozs. Sierra is welcomed by her grandparents Jerome and Madonna Bolt and Ern and Vera Curtis as well as many other family and friends. A heartfelt special thanks to 5NB, NICU and the neonatal team specialists especially Dr. Dowden for exceptional work. Thanks also to all our friends, neighbours, co-workers and family for your kindness and warm wishes. Mommie would also like to thank Daddy for all his amazing love and support.

BROTHEN– David and Jenny (Thomson) are thrilled to announce the early arrival of their daughter, Iris Katherine, on March 3, 2010, weighing 4 lbs. 1 oz. Welcoming Iris are first time grandparents Doug and Sandra Thomson (St. John’s), Teresa and Todd Finlayson (Sundre, AB) and Keith Brothen (Edmonton, AB). Also welcoming our little girl are Aunts Chrissy and Janice; uncles: Michael, Derek and Brian. A special thank you to the staff of the case room and 5NB of the HSC as well as the Janeway’s NICU.

 

COMERFORD– Michael and Lynn (Taylor) proudly announce the arrival of Claire Abigail, born August 6, 2010 weighing 7lbs 4 oz. Welcoming Claire are first time grandparents Margaret and Richard Comerford (St. John’s) and Lorraine and Claude Taylor (South River), uncle Robert Comerford and aunts Catherine and Heather Comerford and Krista Taylor and a wide circle of family and friends.

 

PARROTT– Francis, Karen (nee Benson) and big brother, Adam, are thrilled to announce the arrival of ETHAN FRANCIS on July 10, 2010 at the HSC, weighing 7 lbs. 4 ozs. Welcoming Ethan are proud grandparents, Ruth Benson of St. John’s and Frank Parrott of Carbonear, as well as great-grandmother, Angela Parrott of Mitchell’s Brook. Watching over Ethan from heaven are Poppy Wilfred Benson and Nanny Louise Parrott. Ethan is also welcomed by many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Crane, Dr. Murthy and Dr. Galway for their excellent pre-natal care, as well as to Sue and Bev in the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit. Thanks are also extended to Dr. Kum and Dr. Caines for Ethan’s safe delivery, as well as to the staff of the case room and 5NB, especially case room nurse, Tracy. Thanks to Nanny Benson, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Ken and Paul and Bonnie Osmond for helping to care for Adam while Mommy was in the hospital. Finally, Mommy and Ethan would like to thank Daddy and Adam for all your love and support.

 

SIMPSON– Shannon, Toby and big sister Sarah happily announce the birth of Edward Joseph Lewis Simpson on 1 August at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s. He weighed 8 lb 15 1/4 oz at birth. Edward is the second great-grandchild of Doris Young of Masonic Park (formerly Grand Falls), and the second grandchild of Bernard and Linda Lewis of Chapel’s Cove (formerly Holyrood). Edward is looking forward to meeting his English grandparents, Fred and Mary Simpson of Felixstowe, Suffolk, along with aunts and uncle there. Shannon and Toby would especially like to thank Drs. Whitty and Cook for their excellent prenatal care, Nurses Rose Thrain, Paula Furey of 5NB and caseroom nurses Katie and Margaret Ann for their common sense and patience during labour and delivery.
