COLLETT– Mommy and Daddy, Sonya (nee Pottle) and Bradley as well as big brothers Brayden, Stefen and Leewin have been waiting a very, very, very long time to finally hold a little girl, Marlee Sonya, who was delivered at 9:00 pm on June 17, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 8 ozs and measured 18.9 inches. Grandmother Lee Pottle, Uncle Stanley, Auntie Leanne and cousins Maleaha, Emmerson, and Adia were all excited to meet Marlee for the first time. So were Grandparents Bruce and Molly Collett, Uncle Blake, Aunt Tammy and cousins Shane and Owen, and Aunt Melanie. Our sincerest appreciation and thanks to Dr. Krista Brown for keeping Mommy healthy throughout her term as well the assistance of all of the staff of the case room and 5NB at the HSC for a smooth delivery. And although he passed away and missed seeing her by just a few months, we know that Poppy Stan Pottle would have been so proud to hold another little angel.
HATFIELD– Jeff and Kim are tickled pink once again. On August 24, 2010 at 10:13 a.m., Julia Morgan was born, weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. She was lovingly welcomed by her sister Keira, second time grandparents Morgan and Jeanette Lundrigan of Witless Bay, fifth time grandparents George and Frances Hatfield of Goulds, Aunt Jill Lundrigan, Aunt Jennifer and Darrell O’Brien, cousins Nevaeh, Stacey and Sara. Special thanks to Dr. Michelle Wagoner, Dr. Colleen Cook, the staff of Maternal/Fetal Assessment Unit and case room nurses Lavina and Kelly for their part in the safe delivery of our precious little girl. We would also like to thank all the staff at 5NB and express our gratitude to our family for all their love and support!
KNIGHT– Sunshine and Lollipops, Peaches and Creme and Lavender and Lace; that’s what little girls are made of! Sean and Crystal (Strickland) along with big brother Cameron are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their little girl and sister Gabriella Olivia Gail. Gabriella was born on August 10, 2010 at 9:47 a.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. Welcoming Gabriella are grandparents Randell and Angela Strickland and John and Dorothy Knight as well as Nicole and all of her aunts, uncles and cousins.
MARTIN– Andrew and Gillian are very excited to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Ryan Andrew Martin. Ryan was born June 27, 2010, at 6:35 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 8 ozs. Welcoming Ryan are proud grandparents Ray and Angela Martin, Stan and Anne Martin, and furry “brother” Marty. Special thanks to Dr. Gill, the nurses in the case room and especially the nurses in the NICU for your loving care.
THORNE/MUGFORD– Proud first-time parents Rebecca and Sean are overjoyed to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Benjamin Maddox Thorne Mugford. Benjamin was born on October 27, 2010 at 5:16 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. 2 ozs. Delighted grandparents for the first time are Kerry and Sherry Lee Thorne and Ralph and Bev Mugford. Also welcoming Benjamin are his great-grandparents Benjamin and Dallas Mugford, Fred and Emily Langor, Cecil Thorne and Ross Bennett (who now shares a birthday with baby Benjamin!). Watching over Benjamin are great-grandmothers Betty Thorne and Marie Bennett. Aunts, Chantelle Mugford and Anna Thorne and uncles Adam Thorne and Denis Mugford are ecstatic over the arrival of little Benjamin. Rebecca and Sean would like to thank Dr. Fardy and Dr. Cook for their exceptional pre-natal care, case room nurse Krista and Dr. Bartellas for a safe delivery and all the amazing staff of 5 North B at the HSC. Finally, Mommy and Daddy thank each other for the care and encouragement given to one another over the last nine months.

WARREN– Chris and Rachel (Little) joyfully announce the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Charles Bryan Warren. Charlie made his quick arrival into the world September 12, 2010 at 3:15 a.m., weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Welcoming Charlie with so much love are his grandparents Max and Carolyn Little, Eugene and Marilyn Warren, great-grandmothers Ora Rendell, Frances Rideout and Mary Warren, as well as Auntie Sarah, Auntie Renee and Uncle Shannon and Uncle Bryan, Auntie Heather and cousin Jaxson, godparents Brian and Darlene Dawe and little friend Ella Dawe. Many loved ones are watching over Charlie from heaven including his great-poppy, Charles Rendell, after whom he is named. Charlie and Mommy would like to thank Drs. Humber and Cook for their excellent prenatal care, case room nurse Stacey for her encouragement, Dr. Bartellas for a safe delivery and especially Daddy and Gampie Max for their love, support, encouragement and for holding mommy's hand the whole time.
