Ryan Hancock and Susan Crocker, Truro, NS, are thrilled to introduce Liam James Hancock who arrived at 1:46 p.m., August 17, 2011, at the IWK Hospital, Halifax, weighing 7 lbs. 5 ozs. Proud grandparents are Cheryl and Fred Hancock, Forteau, NL and Jan and Bob Crocker, Conception Bay South, NL. A big thank you to our nurse, Lindsey, and doctors who encouraged and assisted in Liam’s safe arrival.

Steve Harnum and Ashley Gover are thrilled to announce the early arrival of their beautiful little daughter, Taylor Judy-Lynn Harnum. Taylor was watched over by her two angels, Great Nanny and Granda Gover, for a safe arrival at the Women's Health Centre in St. John's on June 15, 2011, weighing 4 lbs. 14 oz. Welcoming Taylor are very proud grandparents, Kevin and Judy Gover, Salmonier Line, Linda Harnum and Pleaman Forsey, Ed and Tammie Harnum, Bishop's Falls. Also, very proud great-grandparents, Don and Louise Sweetapple, Glovertown South, Leonard and Isabelle Penton, Grand Falls-Windsor and Harry and Julie Harnum, Bishop's Falls. Aunt Lesley and Uncle Darren, Aunt Sherri and Uncle Glenn, Aunt Susan and Uncle Mike and Uncle Tyler along with cousins, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Cody, Cameron, Connor, Aurora, Carys, Ethan, Mikaela and Isabella are delighted with our new addition. We are so thankful to Dr. Verge and Dr. Kravitz for their prenatal care, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the NICU for their care during Taylor's stay. Also, a special thanks to Aunt Stephy for being with mommy and daddy that day. Thank you to our family and friends for all their love and support.

First time parents Mark and Diana (Brown) are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl Ava Lillian. Ava was born on August 18th, 2011, weighing 7 lbs 10.9 oz at Arnot Medical Center, Elmira, New York. Ava is the first granddaughter for proud grandparents James and Bernice Brown (Mount Pearl) and Ignatius and Donna Miller (Fogo). Also welcoming Ava are great-grandma Rita Lockyer, great-grandpa Gordon Roebotham, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Carl, Susan and big brother Alec are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Carmen Rose Moores, born June 29 at 3:33 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Carmen is welcomed by grandparents David and Norma Moores of Harbour Grace, Mike and Carol Ann Keough of St. John's and great-grandparents, Alec and Maysie Moores of Harbour Grace. Also welcoming Carmen are aunts, uncles and cousins: Neil, Janna, Nolan, Ewan and Graham Cleary; Andrew, Shelley, Emma, Paige and Drew Moores; Darrin, Rhonda, Ryan and Jack Keough; and Tony, Julie, Thai and Ryleigh Harvey. We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Terry O'Grady for excellent prenatal care and the safe delivery of Carmen. As well as Dr. Ahmad Sawwan, Dr. George Robbins, and the case room and 5NB nursing staff. We would also like to thank Dr. Natsheh for your care and kindness.
