Bridget Mary Roche was born October 23, 2011 at 12:38 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. Welcoming Bridget with love are her parents Brian and Cindy (Nurse), grandparents Richard and Gertrude Roche and Robert and Catherine Nurse. Special great-grandparents Bridget Hawco, Mary Nurse and Gerald Roche. Also welcoming Bridget are her cousins Michael and Jackson along with her aunts, uncles and many friends. A big thank-you to Dr. Lake, Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Drover and the case room nurses for her safe arrival.

Darrell and Joanne Mercer, along with big brother Luke, proudly announce the newest arrival to the family, Alexander James, born at the HSC on July 8, 2011, weighing 8 lbs., 10 oz. On one of the few sunny days during this past summer, this die-hard Habs fan came screaming “wah” and was welcomed by grandparents Walter and Donna Mercer, Fred Durant, Judy Durant, great-grandparents Ray Sellars and Maxine Durant, in addition to a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The staff at Bishop’s College gets this year’s award for best supporting cast in a dramatic series. A special thank you to Dr. Rideout and the staff of Churchill Square Medical Clinic, Dr. Strand, Dr. Kamra and the nursing staff at the HSC for their continuous care throughout the pregnancy; your expertise and patience was greatly appreciated.

Big brother Zachary is excited to announce the arrival of his little sister, Grace Elaine Cochrane, born September 18, 2011 at 3:42 a.m. Grace weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. and measured 46 cm long. Proud parents are Geoff Cochrane & Gwen Quigley. First granddaughter of Michelle and Gus Cochrane, St. John’s, NL and Beth & John Quigley, Long Reach, NB. Proud Aunts are Melanie Cochrane, St. John’s, NL and Sarah Quigley, Calgary, AB. A special thank you is extended to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL for their excellent care.

Baby John was born June 11, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. weighing 8 lbs. 13 oz. Welcoming him are very proud parents Peter & Lori, sisters Allie & Kate, grandparents Peter & Rosalie Rogers, Terry & Eileen Humphries, and great-grandparents Tillie Slade & Marie Rogers; as well as lots of aunts, uncles, friends, ER staff.
