STACEY/PICCO
It’s said, the number 13
Brings luck that is bad,
Not with the arrival of Aiden Joseph William,
Say his proud Mom and Dad.
Welcomed into this world,
2013 was the year,
Parents Shane and Amy exclaimed,
Wow! What a head of hair!
9:13 PM was the time,
Hmm, this is getting scary,
Cuz, In keeping with the theme,
It was the 13th day of February.
His pounds they were 7, and his ounces,
Have you guessed it?
Fooled you, it was 14,
Bet you just missed it.
On being a big brother,
four-year-old Nathan is proud and glad,
He’ll be a big help with little Aiden,
And ensure fun times are had.
Proud grandparents are the Piccos,
Kelly and Mike,
So too are Charlie and Paula Stacey,
Of this cute little tyke.
Great-grandparents, they are many,
Charl and Florence Stacey,
Jim and Marie Walsh to name a few,
There’s Robert and Ingrid Luca
And Neta Picco too
Aunt Nicole and Cousin Michael,
Welcome the new family addition,
Another grandkid who’ll be vying,
For grandparents’ attention.
Much thanks to the NICU nurses,
Plus Doctors Escott and Fowler,
For taking such care,
Of our cute little howler.
And to all our friends and relatives,
Those who helped and sent greetings,
We’ll cherish your thoughts,
Through all the diaper changes and feedings.
But, alas, for poor Aiden,
His hockey allegiance, it’s up for grabs,
With one grandfather, a Bruin,
While the other, cheers the Habs.
