TORONTO - Ontario voters returned the Liberals for a third straight term on Thursday. Some comparisons with past votes:

2011: Liberal 53, PC 37, NDP 17

2007: Liberals 71, PC 26, NDP 10

2003: Liberals 72, PC 24, NDP 7

Popular vote (%):

2011: Liberals 37.5, PC 35.3, NDP 22.9

2007: Liberals 42.3, PC 31.6, NDP 16.8

2003: Liberals 46.5, 34.7, 14.7

Turnout (%)

2011: 47.6

2007: 52.1

2003: 56.9
