SASKATOON - The gun has officially sounded on the Saskatchewan election campaign.
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has asked the lieutenant-governor to dissolve the legislature and voters will head to the polls Nov. 7.
The governing Saskatchewan Party is looking for a second term and has been touting its investment in highways and health care.
New Democrats are talking about affordable housing and say they'll create a fund which would dedicate a portion of revenue from non-renewable resources for future investment.
The Saskatchewan Party held 38 of the 58 seats at dissolution and the NDP had 20.
