REGINA - A re-elected Saskatchewan Party would introduce an income tax credit for first-time home buyers.
Premier Brad Wall says the non-refundable credit of $10,000 would result in $1,100 in income tax savings.
The credit would also be extended to people with disabilities buying a more accessible home -- even it if wasn't their first.
The provincial credit would be on top of a similar one offered by the federal government.
Wall says the tax credit would cost $6.6 million a year and would ensure that more people stay in Saskatchewan.
The provincial election is Nov. 7.
