REGINA - Premier Brad Wall has outlined what he says will be the Saskatchewan Party's most expensive promise in the Nov. 7 election campaign.
Wall says his party, if re-elected, would expand coverage to people with disabilities living outside residential care facilities.
He says the SaskParty would also increase benefits for all people with disabilities.
The expansion of the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability program would cost $18.4 million in the first year and increase to $33.3 million in year four.
The program supports about 3,000 people in residential care — the change would add about 7,000 people.
Wall also says the Saskatchewan Party would increase autism funding by $4 million over the next four years.
