Details : You're invited to come out and support the St. John's YPAHD Volunteers of the Huntington Society of Canada. Please join us for a fun run or walk around 3.8 kilometers of walking trail at beautiful Quidi Vidi Lake. Registration starts at 10:30 am and the Run/Walk will begin at 11:00 am, followed by lunch and refreshments. This fundraising walk is in support of Family Services and Research for those affected by Huntington disease. It is like having Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Schizophrenia all at the same time. A child born to a parent with HD has a 50% chance of sharing the same fate. There is no cure.
