On Sunday, September 23 the AIDS Committee of Newfoundland and Labrador will be hosting the annual Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life in St John’s at Quidi Vidi Lake. Shorebird watching at Spaniards Bay on Sunday September 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The tide should be high at about 1 p.m. Meet at Spaniards Bay at 9 a.m. We will then have several hours to look for shorebirds as the incoming tide pushes them closer.

MQP Family Fun Day on September 23. There is fun and entertainment for all ages. Activities include Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Fish Pond Scavenger Hunt and much more. Activities will run from 2-4 p.m. on MQP Schoool Field. Admission for Family Fun Day a non-perishable food item. A Fun Bingo will start at 7:30 p.m. in the church basement. Admission for Bingo $2. In the case of rain, activities for the Family Fun day will take place in MQP Gym. All members and friends of MQP are invited.
