The 3rd Annual Fall Fair sponsored by Heritage Collegiate Cheerleaders on October 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Heritage Collegiate in Lethbridge. A very unique shopping experience. Admission is $2 per person. Children under 12 years of age are free.

St. Augustine's Anglican Church will be holding their Fall Fair Supper on Oct 20 at 5:30 p.m. Buffet style, turkey, salads, dessert and coffee or tea will be served. With a gospel concert to follow at 7 p.m. Music by South Division Country Gospel. Tickets are $12 for supper/$10 for concert and can be purchased by calling April at the parish office at 753-1931.

Pumpkinfest is taking place Saturday, Oct. 20 at Lester’s Farm at 173 Brookfield Road. Lester’s Farm Market is a proud supporter of the City of St. John’s R.E.A.L. Program.

Residents should note that there will be very limited parking available at Lester’s Farm. A free park and ride service will be available from the Newfoundland Hydro parking lot off Captain Whelan Drive. Metrobus will run from this parking lot to Lester’s Farm from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Come on out for a day filled with family fun and help support the R.E.A.L. Program.

• On Saturday, October 20, St. John’s Safer Soil and Seed to Spoon will host a free public workshop on “Putting Your Garden to Bed for Winter.” It will take place at the St. John’s Farmers’ Market, at the Lions’ Club Chalet on Bonaventure Avenue, at 11 a.m. Workshop topics include soil preparation, season extension, planting trees and shrubs, cold weather crops, and will include important information on lead safe yard planning and landscaping.
