Visit MUN ‘Boo-tanical’ Garden on October 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a fun weekend of Halloween arts and crafts, story time, and face painting. Come on a special Halloween nature hike with our education staff and explore the Batty Bat trail, our pumpkin patch and more. A full weekend of family fun is available for young children and parents alike. Free admission for children in costume, friends of the garden and MUN students. Registration is not required. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for young children and their families.

The Women’s Health Clinic at Eastern Health will hold its annual Women’s Health Day on Saturday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Health Science Centre. There will be only female staff in attendance and Pap tests and breast exams will be offered. Refreshments will also be provided. Annual Fall Fair

St. Mary's Anglican Church, Craigmillar Ave., will be holding its Annual Fall Fair on Sat. Oct. 27 starting at 9 a.m. in the Church Auditorium. Wonderful stalls including baked goods, a Newfoundland stall, jewellery, sewn and knitted items, a Halloween Kiddies Korner and other surprises. Every Penny Counts

On Saturday October 27 the Avon Foundation will be launching the Every Penny Counts campaign at Powers Pond Park Mt. Pearl. Please bring all your spare change between 10 a.m - 4 p.m. All funds will be donated in the fight against breast cancer to the Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada
