The St. Andrews Society of Newfoundland and Labrador is celebrating the revered Scottish poet Robert Burns on January 19 at the Pleasantville Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 on The Boulevard at 7 p.m. Come enjoy haggis, pipe music from the City of St. John’s Pipe Band, dancing with the Royal Scottish Dance Society – St. John’s Branch and of course a selection of Burn’s poems.
