Pop Up Deli on the Square - The Sheraton will host a fundraiser for Shaun Hussey and Michelle Leblanc in aid of getting our Gold Medal winning Chef to Kelowna to participate in the Canadian Culinary Championships on January 26 at the The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland Court Garden from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Price $10 per person.This will be an open event to all members of the public. First come first serve. All proceeds will be going directly to Shaun and his team .

Pippy Park Winterfest on January 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. Located at the North Bank Lodge (off Nagle’s Place). An afternoon of winter fun and activities for families and the entire public. Snow games, sliding, free cross country and snowshoe rentals, hot chocolate and outdoor fun for all. Free admission. Sponsored by the Pippy Park Commission with the assistance of the College of the North Atlantic Community Recreation Leadership class and the City of St. John’s, Dept of Recreation and Leisure.
