Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers 024 will be hosting a fundraising dance in aid of The Children's Wish Foundation (Twist Your Wrist Motorcycle Ride.) This event will be held at The Knights of Columbus 49 St.Clare Avenue, on February 23. The cost to attend will be $10 each. All proceeds will be donated to the Children's Wish Foundation to grant the most heartfelt wish of children in our province living with a life-threatening illness.To purchase tickets call Wayne Byrne at 685-5893, Robert Chafe at 727-9379 or Gerard Bursey at 746-3861.

 A Book Collection Blitz will be held on Saturday, February 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring your gently used books to our collector trucks at the parking lot of the Arts and Culture Centre St. John`s or to WalMart’s parking lot at Mount Pearl. The Book Collection Blitz is sponsored by The Canadian Federation of University Women St. John’s (CFUW) in preparation for a gigantic April Book Sale.
