Over the past two summers, the couple participated in two storm-chasing expeditions led by world-renowned severe weather expert, Roger Hill. The chase covered more than 6000 kilometers of the Great Plains in search of supercells, rotating storm clouds that are best known for producing anomalies such as baseball-sized hail, tornadoes and flash floods. Their talk includes an introduction to severe weather, stories from their expeditions and a screening of their most recent film. As a collaborative husband and wife team, their work combines documentary filmmaking with printmaking, animation and installation. Free admission, no registration required.
