From August 4-8 the NLSDU in association with MUN debate will be running a debate camp for students from grade 7-12. Garden Party

    St. John the Evangelist Church in Coley's Point will be holding thieir annual garden party on Monday, August 4, 2014.  Tickets are on sale now for turkey coldplate suppers for eat-in and take-out.  They are $10.00 each and are available from any vestry member or by calling 786-6342/786-0555.  We will also be having games of chance, bingo, pony rides, balloon twisting, entertainment, and so much more starting at 1pm at the church hall in Coley's Point.  Hope to see you there.

    On August 4 the Colony of Avalon hosts Colony Day, a celebration of the 393rd anniversary of the founding of Lord Baltimore’s colony in Ferryland.

    11 a.m. Lecture and site tour with Dr. Barry Gaulton, Archaeologist.

    2 p.m. Performances by local musicians

    2:30 p.m. Heritage workshops for all ages including wool dying and toy making
