Quidi Vidi Camera Obscura by Donald Lawrence

  • Details : 11am-4pm. Join us for a kayak ride into a floating camera obscura at the Quidi Vidi Gut with artist Donald Lawrence. Lawrence will provide simple kayak tours into The Quidi Vidi Camera Obscura where participants will watch an inverted image of their surroundings play with the reflective properties of the water creating a continually shifting image. All skill levels welcome; single kayaks are available for experienced kayakers, or take a ride with Lawrence in a two-person kayak. Part of the Art Marathon Festival.

Carnival Art Crawl

A one of a kind event in St. John’s, Carnival Art Crawl maps will be provided at each location and volunteers at each site directing the public.
