Fundraising concert for the NL Musicians’ Emergency Fund at The Ship

    September 13 at 10 p.m. The Newfoundland and Labrador Musicians’ Association will host a fundraising concert for the NL Musicians’ Emergency Fund at The Ship. Republic of Doyle’s Lynda Boyd and Krystin Pellerin along with jazz songstress Katie Hopkins will be singing jazz and blues standards accompanied by Bill Brennan, Andrew McCarthy, Greg Bruce and Mark Peddle. Proceeds from this concert will be contributed to the Newfoundland and Labrador Musicians’ Emergency Fund. $15 at the door.

With such difficulty for a pain person to find a family physician  willing to accept them as a patient ,a doctor that understands the effects of one’s life living with pain physicaly,mentaly and emotionally.  A pain person is lost as where to turn. Terry Bremner,Chair of Action Atlantic Pain Society and President of the Chronic Pain Association will be presenting on a peer to peer chronic pain support group’s  starting in St. Johns, Saturday September 13 at 1 p.m. in the Sobeys Community Room, 50 Old Placentia Rd.
