Baie Verte student charged with uttering threats over Internet

A male student at Baie Verte Collegiate school has been charged with uttering threats over the Internet.
The threats were made over a online forum and were against the general student body at the school, said an Royal Canadian Mounted Police statement.
The youth, who is a resident of the Baie Verte Peninsula, was arrested Tuesday but has been released from custody. He has been ordered to appear in court in Baie Verte on April 16. He has been released from custody
A police investigation is ongoing.
