Western Health laboratory and x-ray workers join NAPE

As of today, Carol Furlong and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) will be representing laboratory and x-ray workers with the Western Regional Health Authority.
Before, some of the workers were with NAPE and some with CUPE, when Western Health applied to the labour relations board to have one organization represent the whole group.
Eastern Health laboratory and x-ray workers are already with NAPE, and Central Health and Labrador-Grenfell Health have made similar applications.
