I just attended the Rug Hooking Guild of NL Rug School, held at the Arts&Culture Centre in St. John's Aug.14-17. At our banquet we were entertained by the Celtic Fiddlers and have to say that they were very professional and entertaining, it's good to see such a range in age and number of different instrunments they play. It was thoughly enjoyed by all. Groups like this have to be commended on their preseverence to servive over such a long time, which isn't easy this day and age. CONGRATULATIONS

The Celtic Fiddlers are wonderful. Many of my close friends were apart of the group when it first began and when my Grand-Dad passed away some of them who had retired picked up their fiddles again and played at the funeral and it was so beautiful. The City of St. John's should be proud of a talented group such as The Celtic Fiddlers and should be coming to them to perform at events. I congratulated them for their on going success and hopefully many more years to come!
