Police in St. John's are currently at the scene of three car accidents that are slowing traffic this morning.
Const. Paul Davis says two of the accidents happened on the Outer Ring Road, one in the west-bound lane near Topsail Road and the other in the east-bound lane near Allendale Road.
The third accident is on Kenmount Road east of Wyatt Boulevard.
It's possible that all three incidents were a result of hydroplaning. Davis says there's plenty of standing water on the roads.
He recommends that people take alternate routes to work as there are slowdowns in traffic at all three sites.
Davis is unsure of the seriousness of the accidents, and says there will be updates later on whether anyone was injured and when the roads are fully opened.
