Ya know!! The long and the short of it is that if you really want an accurate forecast wake up look out the window. Last week for example, and many more before, I planned on doing roofing. The whole week stated the weekend was going to be clear and 4-5. I checked the forecast everyday planning a few fellas to do the work and a few cold ones after the job was done. All was well and good all week and alas Saturday evening it changed from clear and 5 to rain and snow in the afternoon. Why does this prediction change all of a sudden?? How can the weather people make us feel a bit better with planning events on their forecast? I know we cannot blame the worker but maybe we should have a 2 day forecast.

Can't believe people are being critical of The Telegram for putting a weather update on the web.
I suggest they should get a life and find something to do, other than complain for the sake of complaining.

Yeah, what's with the hyphens ? ('plus-three'). I've seen in the past on numerous occasions Labrador spelled 'Lab-rador'. I've seen other non-related words hyphenated as well. Very strange. I guess command of the English language is not a prerequisite to work at the Telegram.

Slow news day?? Also - may want to be careful with spelling pus-three .

Is The Telegram going to resort to picking up weather forecasts as latest news ? Surely there must be some human interest stories or something out there for readers!

Since this is not news at all, but rather a 'cut and paste' of The Weather Network forecast, I was wondering if The Telegram could do me a favor on a slow news day?

Can you please put back the option to comment on drug seizure stories? Don't know why this was ever removed, but it seems to be because people commenting on the stories had a very negative view of these RNC nickle and dime bag busts. Please reinstate this option so your readers can express their true feelings on the subject...its important!

This is an encrypted under cover message for Quebec agents to action an invasion of the Newfoundland House of Assembly and kidnap Danny Williams, to thwart any future contesting of Hydro Quebec's intention to take over New Brunswick power.......LOL Sounds better than a weather forecast that in all likelihood is inaccurate....Isn't it???

I searched Environment Canada's website and they don't list any snowfall amounts. But, the Weather Network did - 25-30cm Sunday. Since this is the first significant snowfall for the area it is news, but it would have been more newsworthy had the Telegram noted the amount expected.

The kids are gonna love this!

Is there any particular reason why this is newsworthy ?

Perhaps if you had mentioned in the article the AMOUNT of snow forecast by EC, the article might be more poignant. But you failed to do so, and as such, your omission renders the article without point.

Will we be getting forecasts in the paper like this everyday from now on ?

This story should be removed and substituted with a new community interest article called The Exciting Lives of Bill & Jim . I'd still complain about the article all day long, but at least its not turning a non-eventful forecast into Breaking News!
