Police to release information about skull found in C.B.S. in 2001

Police will be releasing information tomorrow on recent progress made in the mystery of human remains that were discovered more than eight years ago.
On May 17, 2001, a human skull was found in an area off Minerals Road in Conception Bay South.
A subsequent investigation determined the death was a homicide.
Since the skull's discovery, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary investigators have learned further details about the victim.
Police will hold a briefing for members of the media at RNC headquarters tomorrow afternoon.
