Weather update: Wet night ahead; flurries tomorrow

Snow and ice pellets will change to rain or drizzle this evening, according to Environment Canada's 4 p.m. forecast.
The accumulation of snow and ice pellets is predicted to be two centimetres, while the total rainfall will be two millimetres.
The temperature will rise to plus four this evening and then fall.
Winds tonight will be from the southeast, gusting to 70 kilometres an hour and becoming southwest gusting to 50.
Parts of the coast will see southwest winds reaching 70 late this evening and overnight.
Friday will see flurries with a temperature near zero and southwest winds of 50 gusting to 80.
Flurries will continue into Friday night, with a low of minus three and southwest winds gusting to 70.
The outlook for both Saturday and Sunday is cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of flurries.

    Well at least the rain will beat down some snow banks and help us pedestrians get back on the sidewalks again. Wouldn't want to rely on ol' City Hall there ya know
