Weather update: Rain on the way

This evening is expected to be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries overnight, Environment Canada's 4 p.m. forecast for the St. John's area says.
The winds will blow from the southeast at 30 kilometres per hour, gusting to 50 this evening.
The low temperature for tonight is zero.
Expect Wednesday to be cloudy, with a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries early in the morning.
Periods of rain will begin in the afternoon.
Forty kilometres an hour southeast winds will gust to 60, except 80 along exposed coastal areas.
The high will be two.
Wednesday night will see between five and 10 millimetres of rainfall, with winds similar to the afternoon.
The temperature should stay steady at two.
The outlook for Thursday is rain and wind with a high of two.

    Let it be a lesson never to trust The Weather Network or Environment Canada for their Winter Predictions as we are supposed to get seasonal or near seasonal temperatures as well as snow this winter as opposed to rain.

    Therefore, I hope the mild temperatures will not last and we get the snowy and cold winters this province is known for, especially in Western Newfoundland and most of Labrador.

    Lets pray we get a white Christmas.
