Weather update: Wind warning over

The wind warning has ended in the St. John's area. Environment Canada's 4 p.m. forecast says the winds tonight will be northeast 50 kilometres per hour gusting to 80.
Periods of rain changing to periods of drizzle overnight.
The rainfall amount will be between two and four millimetres.
The temperature will be steady at three and there will be fog patches.
The outlook for Wednesday contains periods of drizzle with fog patches.
The winds will be from the northeast, 40 gusting to 60.
The temperature will remain at three.
Wednesday night will see periods of drizzle ending near midnight, then cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries and a risk of freezing drizzle overnight.
Fog patches will dissipate in the evening.
Winds will be northeast 30, gusting to 50 becoming north 30 overnight.
The low will be one below.
The outlook for Thursday and Friday - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - is cloudy with a high of zero.
