Weather update: Wind warning continued

A wind warning remains in effect for the St. John's area, Environment Canada says.
The 11 a.m. forecast predicts 50 kilometres per hour winds gusting to 80, 100 along parts of the coast.
That will be accompanied by between 10 and 20 millimetres of rain.
The temperature will remain steady near three.
Tonight will see periods of rain or drizzle and fog patches, with northeast winds of 50 gusting to 80.
Temperature will continue to hover around three.
The outlook for Wednesday is periods of drizzle ending in the evening then cloudy, with northeast winds gusting as high as 60 and the temperature staying around 3.
The forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is a mix of sun and cloud with a low of minus two and a high of zero.
