Remains of Cdn soldier killed in Afghanistan to return home Monday

The remains of a Canadian soldier who was killed during a foot patrol in Afghanistan will be returned to Canada on Monday.
The repatriation ceremony for Lt. Andrew Nuttall, originally scheduled for Sunday, will now happen a day later at 2 p.m. at CFB Trenton in eastern Ontario.
CFB Trenton officials say due to mechanical problems with a plane overseas a different aircraft will bring the remains home.
Nuttall, from Prince Rupert, B.C., was killed Wednesday by an improvised explosive device during a routine foot patrol in the Panjwaii district of southern Afghanistan.
The blast that killed Nuttall, along with an Afghan soldier, called a sudden end to a period of relative calm in the wake of Afghanistan's traditional fighting season.
Nuttall was a member of 1st Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, based in Edmonton.
