Eastern Health advises the public that due to unforeseen circumstances, the mass immunization clinic scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 16, at Bethesda Pentecostal Church, is cancelled.
The clinics scheduled for today and Friday (Jan. 14 and 15) will continue as previously announced.
The mass immunization clinic will re-open next week at a new location, Suite 203 Outpatient Services, 35 Major's Path. The clinic will be open on a walk-in basis from Monday, Jan. 18 to Friday, Jan. 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
For Bell Island, the Southern Shore, Rural Avalon and peninsulas areas, the H1N1 vaccine continues to be available by booking an appointment at the local community health office between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Second dose vaccination for children in the St. John's area ages six months up to the day before their third birthday, and children ages three up to the day before their 10th birthday who have a chronic illness, is now being offered through the mass immunization clinic at 35 Major's Path or by calling a community health office.
The H1N1 general vaccination information line provides recorded messages about appointment booking information and vaccination clinic locations and times. The vaccination information line number is 752-4358 or 1-877-752-4358.
