Man charged with first-degree murder after woman's body found in Labrador

RCMP say charges have been laid in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in Labrador last week.

A 26-year-old man from Nain is charged with first-degree murder. He appeared
in court Monday. The body of a 20-year-old woman was found last Tuesday
inside a home in Nain.
Police said from the outset that her death was suspicious.
An autopsy has been performed, but RCMP have not said how the woman died.
