Air Canada adds extra Gander to Halifax flight

Air Canada will beef up its service between Gander and Halifax, adding a third daily flight starting June 18.
The 50-seat Air Canada Jazz flights will be a 6:25 p.m. departure, which will allow central residents to connect and fly to western Canada before midnight.
"This new flight allows even better access to Air Canada's expansive global network," said Gary Vey, president and CEO of the Gander International Airport Authority. "For local residents and industry, it means better connectivity and convenience for the peak travel season."
