Provincial music awards headed back to Gros Morne in 2010

The 2010 Newfoundland and Labrador Music Industry Association (MusicNL) conference and awards will be held in Rocky Harbour/Gros Morne, according to the association.
The gathering is scheduled to be held from Oct. 22 to Oct. 24 and will mark the 19th year for the annual industry event.
The MusicNL conference and awards were previously held in the Rocky Harbour/Gros Morne area in 2003.
"With the buzz and excitement already building, we anticipate the level of interest and support to surpass that of 2003. Improved amenities and infrastructure in the area will no doubt enhance the overall experience and contribute to the success of the event," stated West coast MusicNL director Shirley Montague.
Further details on the events are expected to be announced as the scheduled date approaches.
