Newfoundland town warned about coyote

Police in Lewisporte are advising that residents be on the lookout for a large coyote.

Officers say residents in the area of Birchy Bay have noticed the animal in the area. Apparently the coyote has already attacked one pet in the area.

Officers are advising that when children and pets are outside adults keep a close eye on them.
