Update: New CFB Trenton commander tells officers at his installation to move forward

The new commander of a key Canadian military base once led by a man now charged with double murder says it's time to move forward.
Col. Dave Cochrane told hundreds of officers assembled at Canadian Forces Base Trenton that they need to turn the page.
The base's former commander, Col. Russell Williams, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two sexual assaults.
While Russell wasn't mentioned by name the allegations against him, which have rocked the Canadian military to its core, hung heavy over the ceremony.
Maj.-Gen. Yvan Blondin, commander of 1 Canadian Air Division, presided over Cochrane's installation as commander.
Williams, 46, is being held at the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee.
He appeared in court in Belleville via video Thursday charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Cpl. Marie-France Comeau of Brighton and Jessica Lloyd of Belleville.
