There has been a change of command at CFB Trenton, the busiest military base in Canada once led by a man now charged with double murder.
A ceremony was held this morning to replace Col. Russell Williams with Col. Dave Cochrane.
Maj.-Gen. Yvan Blondin, commander of 1 Canadian Air Division, presided over the ceremony.
Williams, 46, is being held at the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee.
He appeared in court in Belleville via video Thursday charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Cpl. Marie-France Comeau of Brighton and Jessica Lloyd of Belleville.
