Update: Upper Gullies Elementary to reopen Thursday

Classes will resume at Upper Gullies Elementary Thursday following the completion of repairs to the school's electrical system, the Eastern School District announced today.
The school was evacuated Monday morning due to an electrical short, and students were bused to St. Edward's Elementary in Kelligrews.
The school will be open this evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for any parent or guardian who wishes to pick up their child's personal belongings.
