Search continuing in Topsail Beach area for missing man

A search is continuing today along the coastline and in the wooded sections of the Topsail Beach area for 58-year-old Wayne Peacock who was reported missing Monday evening.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, the Rovers ground search and rescue team, the Canadian Coast Guard and a helicopter are all involved in the search.
Peacock, who is known to frequent the area, was last seen about 6 p.m. Monday. His vehicle - a Mazda pickup - was located at Topsail Beach this morning with some of his personal belongings inside.
RNC officers have cordoned off the area as the search continues.
